draconisferret for playing Dr. Frankenstein and building it up for me.
I like it, yes I do. It isn't pretty, but it's fat and happy enough for me. Fast enough for online gaming, even, though that's not something I do. And it has Illustrator and Photoshop CS3, which are both much more current than what I was running.
Now begins the long task of getting it set up just so for my needs.

After several rounds of tests, Kira snapped. “Do you believe me, now?”
Doctor Bashir shook his head in bemusement. “I see it, but I still don’t believe it.”
The petite Bajoran yanked him off the floor by his shirt-front. “Doctor, I swear I will shove you out the nearest airlock if you ever tell anyone about this.”
She wasn’t lying, he knew, but he couldn’t help chuckling. “How did Odo get in there, anyway?”
“Don’t. Ask.” Her tone was icy, yet spoke volumes. “Well? Can you…remove him?”
“Actually, I think he’ll emerge on his own. In about nine months.”
“What?!”

Jun. 22nd, 2005 12:17 pmThanks to everyone for your notes of happiness. AS you can see, I'm checking the computer during moments of vague lucidity. Usually these types of meds don't make me so loopy, but I'm having trouble taking in an adaquate supply of food. It hurts when I eat, meaning I likely brused my insides as well as my outsides.....I'll know more after my dr appt today.
