air_n_darknessI finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at 8:32am. So I actually sat down to read at roughly 12:50am, so accounting for a couple of potty breaks and a refresh on the caffeine, 7.5 hours for 750 pages. I feel slow; I used to read faster than that. Admittedly, there were some parts I had to re-read, because for some reason it didn't jive in the brain the first time around. Didn't happen too often, though.
And to avoid my own curse....

Molly Weasely totally pwned!
Snape/Dumbledore's exposition(s) were OK, but suffered from poor placement, IMHO.
Some bits made me think JK had read a bit too much fanfic.
Kreacher was a bit over the top. Hell, the dragon was more than a bit over the top.
Parents are gonna hate her; she used real curse words, including a reference to the "F" word. Plus some rather suggestive references regarding the closeness of some individuals. But maybe, I have been reading too much fanfic on that last.
OMFG SHE DID NOT JUST USE THAT TIRED OLD COP OUT!!!! WHAT THE BLOODY FUCK!

I only really spoiler one thing, and you'll only get it if you have either been big into the Book 7 theories and read a lot of fanfic. And I didn't say a word about the TWO major bits that seriously surprised me (and really are spoilers).
