Magical Theory Since entering Pagansville there's one constant I found- everyone does it differently. My biggest problem with the average neo-pagan is that many will go on and on about how their way is so and so, and you should only use this candle with this her when the moon is dark, blah, blah, blah. Why? Because that's what Silver Ravenwolf, Daddy Bucky, Scott Campbell, the fairies, my granny does. Puh-lease!

I want to know the whys. The bones behind the practice. I can look at Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hindu, et al, and with study I understand the whys behind their methods and teachings. There are hundreds of religious pantheons and magical practices; why did you choose that one? Why do you do things, that way? There is something to be said for tradition, but once we start simply accepting, instead of questioning, we become sheep ripe for the slaughter.

Pagan Religions Slightly redundant *points up*, but not too badly:). I separate Magic from Religion. Magic is a process with a means to an end. Religion is a way of life. Not that Religion can't be Magical.

The truth is, I find Religion in all it's form fascinating. Human beings seem hardwired to need that desperate belief in a higher power, a Creation Force. We can't accept the possibility that we are simply complex creatures existing in an even more complex world, no judge and jury but our own morality. Which we create, buy the way. Morality, like Normality, is a relative concept.

Rubber Stamping Stamping ties into my love paper arts. I like to collect stamps; I have some I bought just because I thought they were cool; haven't used them in an actual project yet. Some consider it a bit arts and craftsy but meh, that's ok. It's all in what you bring to the table. There's nothing quite as cool as giving someone a handstamped card and watching them oh and ah.

Hallmark's got nothing on me:)
