Accomplishments 11/22/08
Nov. 22nd, 2008 11:18 pmMade bed
Unloaded/loaded dishwasher
Cleaned off stove; counters
Cleaned entryway
Listed one of the Warcraft lots on ebay
Made a pot of Thai Chicken soup- portioned and froze for future meals
Made a pot of Mung Bean soup- portioned and froze for future meals
Folded clothes
What have I done for me lately? (oh ohoh yeah...)
Bought a new pair of shoes. I've been looking for another pair of "stompy boots", ones that are sturdy enough to stand up to my being on my feet, comfortable enough to not kill my feet, and that lace up high enough to support my ankles. Finally found a pair at the evil empire that didn't kill my budget. It'll take a bit to break them in- and to readjust my feet to walking in a slight heel.
Splurged on two small things: the aforementioned Secret of NIMH and a little Eeyore PVC figure.
Took the time to blow dry my hair instead of just putting it up wet.
Actually joined Summerland Grove. Still feeling...odd about that. It's the right thing for me at the time, and going through realm (even if I will be CLEP'ing 1 and possibly 2), is definitely what I need to be doing at this stage. I'm still not used to being part of a group, and that after how many years with CotLM?
Allowed myself not to stress if I don't get every single thing done when I think they "should be done." Flex time. It's a good thing.

Aug. 12th, 2008 10:15 pm1) Maintained the kitchen
2) Put away dishes
3) Passed off bread starters
4) Sorted a box of old foodie magazines. Dumped most of them into recycle. *sigh* Some of them
were three or four years old, and I never even opened them.
5) Cleaned the master bathroom, something overdue by longer than I want to admit. Which entailed:
a)a major scrub of the sinks and counter
b)cleaning the medicine cabinets
c)purging old stuff from said cabinets
d)exorcising the toilet (only a mild exaggeration)
e)cleaning out and purging old stuff from linen closet
f)hand scrubbing the shower
g)sweeping and mopping the floor
h)wiping down the blinds
i)cleaning the mirrors
j)unclogging a sink
k)washing shower curtain and bath mat
6) Vacuumed bedroom and hall
7) Dusted off ceiling fan, headboard, nightstand and bedside lamp
8) Washed, folded and put away laundry

Accomplishments 8/8/08
Aug. 8th, 2008 09:32 pm1) Got meds filled
2) Made appt to get the belt changed on my car. I'll do a lot of auto work myself, but the last time I had to change the belt it took literally all day. Why? Because you really have to pull the motor to get the belt back on properly, and I don't have the equipment for that.
3) Made the bed. Two days in a row! Might become a habit!
4) Maintained clean kitchen
5) Did dishes
6) Cleaned kitty boxes
7) Packaged all outgoing
8) Cooked a nice easy pasta dinner for one- that wasn't mac n' cheese
9) Baked Friendship bread
10) Retyped bread recipe to give to Trudy, Jen, and Liz along w/ their starters.
And I worked a full day. I'm tired!
Oh, local peoples, if you're interested in entering the cycle of Friendship Bread, in 10 days I'll have 3 more starters to give away. Let me know if you want to meet up and I'll get one to you. It is very much worth it, and you really don't have to do much. It's an almost foolproof recipe!

2) Cleaned kitchen
3) Cleaned entry, including vacuuming the stairs and wiping down the banister.

5) Servants of the Betrayer fully sorted and out of my living room.
6) Finished Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?
7) Made dinner, and enough for two more meals.

Accomplishments 8/3/08
Aug. 3rd, 2008 09:57 pmFrom time to time, I get this...overwhelmed feeling. There's so much to do, and only so much time, and I spend almost all that time "doing stuff." Work stuff, house stuff, ebay stuff, friend stuff- I'm running and running and even though intellectually I know I'm getting things done, it doesn't feel like I'm getting things done. Especially when I look on my To Do List to cross one Thing off and realize I still have 6 pages of Things To Do.
So, in the same vein as my Happy List, I'll be making daily (hopefully) Accomplishment posts. Not To Do Lists; I have the magic little notebook for those. Accomplishments only, which may be thing that were on my To Do list, but maybe not. Things I did that I'm proud of having done for what ever reason will go on this list. So this will hopefully remind me that I really am making progress.
So here we go! (I like lists, can't ya tell?)
1) Cleaned out all the trash from my car. And yes, this is a monumental thing worthy of note!
2) Finished The New Detox Diet
3) Put out a HUGE amount of backstock at work
4) Ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner
5) Sorted Diamond order
6) Packaged about 2 dozen Ebay orders
7) Broke down and took out a very large stack of boxes for trash/recyle
8) Restarted the Happy List
9) Still soda free!
10) Maintaining the trend of folding and putting away my clean clothes. I have a bad habit of living out of the hamper.
