kids...blegh

So those of you who know me also know that there's a reason why the__malkavian and I have cats and not kids.  We like kids, but only when we can give them back to their proper parental units.  I'm just not wired w/ the whole maternal thing.

Well, Lynson's sister and her new hubby dropped the three kids off this weekend (ages 2-7).  They're good kids, but, well, kids.  They're loud, fight w/ each other, and generally an annoyance.  At least they've almost learned that screaming "KITTY!!!!" and running after my cats is a Bad Thing (tm).

But everything's OK'cause I have

Halloween invite

OK, if you're on my friends list and are within driving distance, you are now invited to my house for Halloween.  Yes, I work but we close at 6pm so it's all good.  We plan on people getting here around 7:30 or so.  Nothing fancy, just movies, charred flesh (grilled, stuffed portabellos for the veggie-heads), and maybe one of the__malkavian 's famous cheescakes (provided I can sweet talk him into making yet another one:). 

This invite also includes your significant other.  It also includes YOU, Emily, even though we still haven't managed to get you an LJ yet, but I know you read them.  You crazy voeyour, you. 

If you can make it RSVP 'cause I need to know how many steaks to buy.  Pls remember that I have cats, so LMK if there are serious allergy issues.  Also, LMK about any food allergies.  I will provide directions when you RSVP for those of you who haven't been here before.
