People are idiots. I'm at work. A guy just called me to say the milk that is over 2 weeks out of date has made him ill.
Now, it is not our responsibility to rotate the stock in the supermarkets. That is up to them. But he did become ill from consuming our product. So, in the legal world of arse-covering, I have to take his details and we have to investigate it so that if he sues us, we can point the finger at the supermarket and go "It was them!"
He refused to give me even his name. He kept on asking why I wanted it, and I told him because I was concerned that the product didn't reach him in the condition in which it should have, we needed to investigate and could I PLEASE have his name.
He just flat out refused. Wouldn't give it. What can I do?
*shrugs helplessly*
People are idiots. Why call if you're not going to bloody cooperate?
